Smartglobe
When I was a kid growing up, a long long long time ago in the 1990s, the most exciting thing about the globe in the back of the classroom was that it spun. Well it looks like globes have come a long way since then, Orgeon Scientific’s SmartGlobe PR18-06 is so advanced that it can be updated via the internet. It also comes with interactive lessons, 30 English and Spanish activities, game quizzes about countries, capitals, major cities, populations, languages, currencies, time, distances, history, science and current events. And for those of you who are geographic addicts and can’t manage fit the globe in a suit case, you can connect headphones to the included programmable SmartPen, throw some content on to it, and take it with you when traveling. The SmartGlobe retails for $129.95.
