We don’t care what anyone says, we love AOL. In it’s quest to woo you over
to the dark side with freebies, AOL has come out with StudyBuddy, a free search
engine built just for homework. The StudyBuddy search engine is designed to help
kids in grades K through 12. It provides links to resources ranging from text,
to video and audio files. Search results even tell you what grade level the
result is appropriate for.  The StuddyBuddy site also features a handy Atlas,
Dictionary, thesaurus, and translator.

The Link states the following (below) when accessing with the latest version of Opera. The site works without issues in Opera - no need to “upgrade”;-)

The only really (current) useful area of the site is the [Learning] area and they all lead to external AOL paid services. Most of the other links lead to a large result set of Encyclopedic descriptions of each subject matter and alot of other fluff that does nothing to help any student. This is an attempt by AOL NOT to send it’s users to better learning sites.

Google for a much better result set.

It’s easy to get lost in the light, cheery design of the site. AOL has always excelled when it comes to usability and eye-candy. The site itself lacks anything substantive except for some external paid Links.
